I am a Professor and holder of a Cullen Trust for Higher Education Endowed Professorship in Engineering of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin. My main research interest is the interaction between computer hardware, the compiler, the programming model, and the programmer. Some of my other research interests include programmable computer architecture in general, parallel architectures, micro-architecture design, and high-performance computing methods and algorithms.

Read this if you are interested in joining my group, and please visit my research, publications, and teaching pages for more information, or take a look at my CV page, which contains my full curriculum vitae, a recent research statement, and publication list.

If you’re interested in computer architecture and systems, you should also check out our seminars. The current web site is here: https://sites.google.com/site/utececomparch/.

I have some thoughts about “fixing” arXiv for communities who care about reducing bias during the review process. If you’re interested, please read my open letter to arXiv leadership about Anonymized arXiv.
